Mental Health & Well-Being
Mental Wellness & Health
Your mental health matters to us
We want to raise awareness about mental health and make everyone feel comfortable and know it is okay to speak up about how they are feeling and express themselves truly. We at Apollo, thrive to create a real and encouraging environment to let people be themselves and always feel obliged and open to talk about how they are feeling.
We love our students and all of our reps are always there to share a conversation at any time throughout a trip or after it. We care about mental health and we want everyone to know that there is no shame in feeling off, we at Apollo will always be here to listen and open up conversation around young boys and girls mental health.
As pass Irish college students working in Apollo we understand the different pressures college life can bring and finding balance in that can be daunting at times. We know being away from home skiing can negatively impact mental health as it can sometimes influence drinking and partying as well as routine disruption and late nights.
Given that one in four persons suffer from these problems, and that number is significantly greater among youth, Apollo has taken steps to enhance its knowledge and procedures in order to better support the mental health of its passengers.
We at Apollo are pleased to listen to any problems you or your friends may be having while you're away, and we want to help you talk to the right people. These could be family, friends, medical professionals, or outside organisations.
These are just a few of the organisations we would suggest to travellers who are experiencing mental health problems while travelling.

Collaboration with Jigsaw
We have also included the opportunity to donate to Jigsaw with each university ski trip we sell as part of our partnership with them to increase awareness of mental health issues.

Les Deux Alpes features some of its easiest lines at high elevations, which is a distinctive and fascinating feature that sets it apart from other ski resorts. In other resorts, the pistes get harder the higher you go up the mountain. The Glacier du Mont de Lans offers wide-open, easy blue routes for skiers at the beginner and intermediate levels. Modern ski lifts and groomed slopes make it easy to access the mountain, and both novice and expert skiers may find what they need at ski schools and equipment rental stores.
