Transport, Arrival & Departure Information
Welcome to Apollo Snow Adventures
At Apollo Snow Adventures, we want every guest to have a smooth journey to and from the French Alps. Our group airport shuttle operates to and from Geneva Airport only and follows a fixed weekly schedule.
It is extremely important that all guests read the following information carefully before booking flights or making any other travel arrangements.
Important Travel & Transport Information
Geneva Airport Only
Apollo Snow Adventures operates its group airport shuttle exclusively from Geneva Airport.
We do not operate scheduled Apollo Snow Adventures shuttles from any other airport, railway station, city or transport hub.
Guests who choose to fly into or travel through another airport are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to Geneva Airport in sufficient time to meet the scheduled Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle.
Unless otherwise expressly confirmed by us in writing, Geneva Airport is the only airport used by Apollo Snow Adventures for our scheduled group shuttle service.
Saturday Arrival Shuttle
Geneva Airport Departure: 3:00 PM Every Saturday
For each scheduled Saturday arrival, the Apollo Snow Adventures group shuttle will depart Geneva Airport at 3:00 PM for the resort. Each Group travels Saturday to Saturday so please be there at 3:00PM for your collection and you will be returned the following Saturday by 12:00PM. This is the same for every group and no exceptions will be made.
This is a strict scheduled departure time.
All guests using the group shuttle must ensure that they have:
-
Arrived at Geneva Airport with sufficient time to spare;
-
Cleared passport control and immigration where applicable;
-
Collected all checked luggage;
-
Completed any necessary airport formalities; and
-
Arrived at the designated Apollo Snow Adventures meeting point before the scheduled shuttle departure time.
Guests should select flights that provide a reasonable amount of additional time between their scheduled flight arrival and the 3:00 PM shuttle departure.
A flight scheduled to land shortly before 3:00 PM is not considered sufficient time to guarantee that you will make the shuttle.
Flight Delays & Missed Shuttle Departures
Apollo Snow Adventures cannot guarantee that the group shuttle will wait for delayed or late-arriving guests.
Our shuttle operates as a shared group service and must depart according to schedule due to other guests travelling on the service, onward journey times, resort arrangements and strict accommodation check-in requirements.
If your flight is delayed, cancelled or diverted, or you are delayed by passport control, baggage collection, lost luggage or any other circumstances which result in you missing the scheduled 3:00 PM departure, the shuttle may be required to leave without you.
Where you miss the scheduled shuttle, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for your own alternative transportation from Geneva Airport to the resort.
Apollo Snow Adventures will not be responsible for the cost of alternative transport, additional accommodation, missed services or other expenses resulting from a guest failing to arrive at the designated meeting point by the required departure time, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.
Please plan your flights carefully and allow sufficient contingency time for delays.
Return Shuttle to Geneva Airport
Saturday Return – Geneva Airport Arrival: Approximately 12:00 PM
The following Saturday, the Apollo Snow Adventures group shuttle will return guests to Geneva Airport only.
Our scheduled return journey is planned to arrive at Geneva Airport at approximately 12:00 PM (midday).
Guests are responsible for booking a return flight that allows sufficient time after the scheduled airport arrival for check-in, security, passport control and any other airline or airport requirements.
The 12:00 PM arrival time is an estimated scheduled arrival and cannot be guaranteed, as journey times may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, operational issues and other circumstances outside Apollo Snow Adventures' reasonable control.
We strongly recommend booking a return flight with a substantial time allowance after the scheduled arrival at Geneva Airport.
Apollo Snow Adventures Does Not Book Flights
Flights Are Your Responsibility
Apollo Snow Adventures does not book, sell or arrange flights on behalf of guests.
Flights are not included unless expressly stated otherwise in your booking confirmation.
Each guest is responsible for:
-
Booking their own flights;
-
Ensuring the passenger name and travel details are correct;
-
Holding a valid passport and any required travel documentation;
-
Selecting flights compatible with the Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle schedule;
-
Allowing sufficient time to reach the shuttle meeting point;
-
Checking airline baggage requirements and restrictions; and
-
Managing any flight changes, cancellations or delays directly with their airline or flight provider.
Your flight booking is a separate arrangement between you and the relevant airline, travel agent or flight provider.
Before purchasing flights, please check your Apollo Snow Adventures booking confirmation and the applicable shuttle schedule.
Please Do Not Book an Incompatible Flight
When booking your flights, you must take account of our fixed shuttle schedule:
OUTBOUND – SATURDAY
Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle departs Geneva Airport at 3:00 PM.
RETURN – FOLLOWING SATURDAY
Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle is scheduled to arrive back at Geneva Airport at approximately 12:00 PM.
Guests should not select flights that leave insufficient time to meet these scheduled shuttle arrangements.
Apollo Snow Adventures is not responsible for flights booked at unsuitable times or from airports other than Geneva Airport.
Be On Time for Your Group Shuttle
Our transfers operate for groups rather than individual passengers.
For this reason, we cannot substantially delay an entire group because one or more guests have not arrived at the meeting point on time.
Guests must be ready to board when instructed.
Where a guest is missing at the scheduled departure time, we will make reasonable efforts to establish their whereabouts where practicable. However, this does not mean that the shuttle can or will be held.
The decision to depart must take account of the other passengers, road conditions, driver requirements, journey time and our accommodation check-in arrangements.
Independent Transport
If you:
-
Miss the scheduled Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle;
-
Choose not to use the group shuttle;
-
Arrive at an airport other than Geneva Airport; or
-
Otherwise require transportation outside our scheduled shuttle arrangements,
you will be responsible for organising and paying for your own alternative transportation.
Any independently booked taxi, train, bus, private transfer or other transportation is a separate agreement between you and the relevant third-party provider.
Arrival & Accommodation Check-In
Our transport schedule is designed around our resort accommodation and group arrival arrangements.
Guests travelling on the scheduled Apollo Snow Adventures shuttle will receive the relevant resort arrival and check-in instructions before travel.
Due to accommodation management requirements and the arrival of multiple groups, check-in times must be respected.
Guests travelling independently should not assume that accommodation will be available immediately upon arrival and must follow the check-in instructions supplied with their booking.
Early access to rooms or accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
Departure & Check-Out
Strict Check-Out: 8:00 AM
All guests must vacate their accommodation by 8:00 AM sharp on their scheduled Saturday departure date unless Apollo Snow Adventures has expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
Before departure, guests must:
-
Fully vacate their room or accommodation;
-
Remove all personal belongings;
-
Follow any accommodation check-out instructions;
-
Report any damage or missing items where applicable; and
-
Be ready for the scheduled return transport arrangements.
Late check-out cannot be guaranteed and additional charges may apply where permitted under the applicable accommodation terms.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that every guest purchases comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking.
Guests should consider insurance providing appropriate cover for:
-
Flight delays and cancellations;
-
Missed departures or connections;
-
Winter sports and skiing/snowboarding;
-
Medical treatment and repatriation;
-
Lost, delayed or damaged baggage;
-
Travel disruption; and
-
Cancellation or curtailment of a trip.
It is each guest's responsibility to ensure that their chosen insurance policy provides suitable cover for their individual circumstances and planned activities.
